2003 yılında kurulan Midwest Türk Doktorları Derneği (Turkish American Doctors Association of Midwest - TADAM) 26 Mart 2005 tarihinde, Şikago’da  bir Tıp Balosu düzenleyecektir.  

Sözkonusu balo münasebetiyle aynı gün, ABD’deki tıp doktorlarını ilgilendiren konuların da ele alınacağı ayrı bir toplantı gerçekleştirilecektir.  

Tıp Balosu ve toplantıya Vaşington Büyükelçimiz ile Sağlık Bakanı Prof. Dr. Recep Akdağ da katılacaklardır.
